  1. I'm very surprised that people were surprised to see a women drive! I can't believe in that country that women are sold to men to get married. Very sad. The women aren't educated and have a new place within tourism. The lions and the Leopards attacking/eating there cattle. Maybe this town won't survive in the 21stCentury. They keep giving out land and they are loosing cattle that way. They are absolutely loosing everything that we Americans have ton of well most everything they have. They are loosing tons and tons of money, loosing cattle, and livelihood. They are trying to save there national WILDLIFE reserve. They struggle more than I can understand This is sad in a way. Loosing everything and nobody's helping. In the video they say the farms are for resettlement. That is very sad and disappointing. I am glad there life got better at the end of this video. I'm glad there wildlife preserve is going to be save. Amazing!!! The people are so adorable!!!

  2. I was really suprised on how women were looked upon there. I think its really sad, it's almost as if they treat the women like their cattle. They get no education or any privilages they are told what to do and are forced to do it. I mean lets remember no matter where you live women are still humans too. I do think that it is interesting how the lions were starting to hunt the cattle in the fields instead of just the wildlife that they were meant to eat. Maybe this is supposed to be a message to humans that we need to just leave the animals where and how they are. Maybe we are the problem and not the animals, I mean think about it if they came over and wanted to control us where we live would we like that?...

  3. it's very amazing how God created humans to adapt to changes. No matter how many obstacles humans have, there's no way they can be held back from succeeding and moving on. This video gave me a smile because I see that there are still people on this planet that care about our world and its animals and plants. I think these women are doing a great job because they're showing the world that nothing is impossible if you believe in it. Even though women are not known to drive and have regular jobs there, they still do it. I think everyone should look up to this great examples.

  4. I think its really inspiring to see these women stand up to the men their driving out there in the wild with animals everywhere not knowing what could happen next on that rocky terrain without protection that shows that women have more skill then some men, actually making the income, some of the women of the villages dont want to getmarried want to get a job just want to support there families and having to move of the land. also that the lions are attacking livestock and the the men are saying they want to get rid of the lions with arrows and spears. althought they live of the enviorment, and how people from Maasai Mara are struggling to preserve their culture and environmental heritage.

  5. i agree with Jason we might be the problem we are the ones that brought the cattle to where they shouldnt be, the lions shouldnt have been killed. They were just eating, they were suposed to be eating wild animals, but since we brought in the new cattle and that messed them up. And i also think that the women are really cool, they tryed something new that the men really didnt expect.

  6. @ Everyone that has already commented:
This video is not all about women getting a job in my eyes. It's about the strive to make sure that nature can continue as it should. The people in Kenya need to protect the land that they live on instead of selling it. If they raised livestock where they are once, they can do it again. They shouldn't give into the modern world. Many of them stepped in to help save the natural wildlife. Yes, it's good that the women are allowed to help with this, but anyone that is willing to help is needed in these days.

  7. I agree with Allison; the video isn't just about women getting jobs. However, that is what stood out to me the most. I was very upset to see how the women are treated there. It's unfair and stupid. I was happy to see how toward the end of the video, they did something unique and different. They stood up for themselves. That was truly amazing...(:

  8. These people need to stop trying to sell their land and start protecting it. ii agree with Alison, if they raised livestock where they were once then they can surely do it again. ii don't like how they treat the women there. Like men, women deserve education, this video shows me how strong the women were driving on that rocky terrain with wildlife, without even knowing what was going to happen to them. I'm glad the women stood up for themselves, they shouldn't have to be forced to marry someone, they should be able to chose what they want to do with their life

  9. I also agree with allison. They could easily raise livestock there. I was surprised by the way they treated the women there. We all deserve an education. Those woman must have had faith to stand up for themselves not knowing what would happen.

  10. i agree with Allison. If they really wanted to raise livestalk they could. And the way the treated the women was just really mean but at least they had the courage to stand up for themselves.
